iTAC (INTELLIGENCE TORQUE ADAPTION CONTROL) SYSTEM

Leading the way in safety, the BYD SEAL incorporates the latest iTAC technology, which intelligently distributes the drive torque by employing techniques such as torque shift, appropriate torque reduction and negative torque output to effectively reduce or eliminate skidding. The BYD SEAL leverages the pioneering and revolutionary Blade Battery, a transformative force in the EV industry for more than 28 years. The Blade Battery, crafted without relying on rare natural materials like nickel and cobalt, has undergone a comprehensive range of tests in extreme conditions, confirming its position globally as one of the safest batteries on the market.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

HIGH-EFFICIENCY HEAT PUMP SYSTEM

The BYD SEAL is equipped with a state-of-the-art energy-saving heat pump system as standard. This system optimally harnesses residual heat from the powertrain, passenger compartment and batteries to enhance thermal efficiency and minimise energy loss. Consequently, this innovative technology leads to an increased driving range in low temperature conditions.

The actual energy consumption in real conditions varies depending on the driving style, the nature of the route, the outside temperature, the use of heating and air conditioning and any additional weight.
