The BYD SEALION 5 features BYD’s advanced Super Hybrid DM technology. DM stands for Dual Mode, allowing the vehicle to operate both as a hybrid—combining electric power and petrol—and as a fully electric car, offering up to 86 km of pure electric driving thanks to its dual Blade Batteries.

Intelligent control (the “i” in DM-i) enhances efficiency in hybrid mode, delivering fuel consumption as low as 2.1L/100 km. With a full charge and a full tank, the SEALION 5 Super Hybrid offers a total driving range of up to 1,016 km.
